How to Choose A Fridge For Your Kitchen

It’s impossible to imagine a kitchen without a refrigerator. This is what keeps your food in a good condition, help preserve left overs and make food available for a long time. Your kitchen remodeling effort will only be successful after deciding what refrigerator you want to buy. Here are very useful tips to help you choose the right fridge for your kitchen.

Refrigerator style

There are so many refrigerator options in the market. The popular ones include the bottom freezer refrigerator that has the freezer at the bottom. This may be a little inconvenient for some people since you have to bend to use the freezer. The traditionally styled top-freezer refrigerator is a great choice. The freezer is at the top so adults have to bend down to reach the often-used refrigerator section. If you require extra refrigeration space your best bet is refrigerator withdrawers.

Fridge size

This is a very important issue when it comes to kitchen remodeling. You must measure the space you have so you can select a fridge that fits exactly into that spot. Not just the place the fridge will be staying, but also the space required for operations. You must make sure that the space in front of the refrigerator is enough to accommodate the fridge opening. You must also ensure nothing will stop the free swinging of the door when in use, so as not to limit the fridge’s usability. If you have a small kitchen with a considerable height you should consider a tall fridge. But if you have space, a big refrigerator with two doors will be fantastic.

Consider your cooking lifestyle

If you like to cook and freeze then you should consider a refrigerator with enough freezer space that can accommodate your lifestyle. As a daily shopper, you will definitely require Drinks&Coolers less space and more drawers, while people who shop once in a week need to maximize all the capacity they can lay their hands on. Party people need a big freezer to store drinks and breed ice.

Features make all the difference

Refrigerator features make life easier, transforms your kitchen experience and sets you apart. There are so many special features available in different refrigerator brands. Some of the most important wine coolers ones you should be looking out for are adjustable door bins and shelves. This feature allows you to adjust the functionality of the refrigerator to fit into your present needs. Refrigerators with ice makers come in very useful, especially if you’re a party person.

Water and ice dispenser refrigerators are very cool, but some people are not comfortable with it because of its negative aesthetic expression. However, many manufacturers are beginning to make refrigerators with internal dispensers. Very recent refrigerators now come with individual cooling zones that allow cooling at different temperatures inside the same fridge. That sounds really cool, doesn’t it? You should also look out for refrigerators with very cool lighting that can add to their functionality and beauty.

Choose a refrigerator that will add style, beauty and greater functionality to your cooking lifestyle. Consider your budget and understand yourself before picking on features.

What should you buy a DVD or a Blueray player?

It is difficult to distinguish between DVD and Blu-ray from mere physical appearance, as both looks kind of same in terms of size and shape. But the two items have their distinct characteristics and comes in different features. They differ in storage capacity, disc construction, laser technology, player compatibility and image resolution.

Storage capacity is usually measured in GB or gigabytes. A single layer DVD can store around 4.7 GB, which are normally called DVD-5s. The double layer DVDs or DVD-9s, can hold up to 8.7 GB worth of data. However, a single layer Blu-ray disc can store around 25 GB data, whereas the double layer Blu-ray discs can hold up to 50 GB. So Blu-ray is definitely better than that DVD in case of storing information.

As mentioned before, physically both the items are identical, with grooves/pits in the bottom layer for facilitating laser rays to read the preserved data. However, the distance between the grooves are closer to HD 3D Printers for Blu-ray than for DVD, inhibits the storage capacity of DVD.Another physical distinction appears in the way the data are protected from external shock. The protective layer used in Blu-ray is thinner but it contains a hard coating, making it more resistant to scratch. There are also distinctions between the items in terms of laser technology. The laser used in DVDs is red, and as the name suggests, it is blue in case of Blu-ray. The shorter wavelengths enable more precise interpretation of data stored in Blu-ray discs.

The technological shift may have made our lifestyle smooth, but at times it gets difficult to adjust with the rapid transition. The switch from VHS to DVD format happened not quite long ago, and now we are there are Blu-ray players and discs in the market. The DVD players cannot play Blu-ray discs because of the red laser used for reading. Blu-ray players can play DVDs but it will not offer HD quality like blu-raydiscs.

DVDs also fall behind Blu-ray discs as the later can facilitate image with higher resolution. Most of the DVDs have a default resolution of 480 pixels or enhanced resolutions of 520 pixels. So when DVDs are accommodated in big screen the image display seems grainy. The DVDs can store high definition images but the duration of playing then gets shortened. A Blu-ray disc has no such complexity as it was designed to facilitate high resolution image. At present it can offer the best image resolution in comparison with all other available devices, as not even satellite companies or HD cable can display images in 1080 resolution yet.

It is true that Blu-ray discs outplay DVDs in all aspects, but DVD players will not simply disappear from the market; thanks to their widespread popularity in the past when most households had one bought to entertain them. As DVD players cannot open Blu-ray discs, the consumption of DVDs will not shrink right way. But Blu-ray discs, with more storage facility and improved image quality, are definitely better than DVDs.

Nick, you are great!! If you ever need a recommendation (but please not to
my competitors!-joking) let me know!

Hi Nick! Thank you so much for your wonderful work and superior customer service – If you ever need a testimonial let me know. I referred you to a company in the dental industry – they have a site called Pull Up Or Chin Up Bars. If you hear from Chris you’ll have a slight heads up. I’m also going to be sending another site your way at the beginning of May if all goes well. I hope you have time for more work. Thanks again.

I am a real estate agent and a software reseller for a company called MTI, there are about 40 other resellers for this company, and several others in the same industry who are competing for the same keyword rankings as myself. Ken got me in the #4 spot (on Google no less! MSN and others too) under my highly competitive keywords. This is just one ranking below MTI’s ranking on google, all the resellers are now below me in rank! I used to pay a company .25 per click and I never really knew for sure if these were unique visitors clicking my site. Now I know all the customers I get are from Ken’s work and it was only a ONE TIME payment! I also got Ken to optimize my real estate site and I had a call from one an agent in my office who actually wanted to buy my website from me because of my rank in the search engines. I would highly recommend Ken’s services to any website owner, as long as you’re not in the same industry as I am.

Again, thanks for everything you have done for us…this is the first year since we have been in business that we haven’t lost our listing on the search engines before our season began. THANKS!

And from Ron a year later: What you do is amazing! You have done more to make our page successfully index high on the search engines than anybody who has worked with it.

“I knew enough about search engines to know that hand submitting produced results. But when I tried, I came up really short. Mr. Sproul guided me through the complete process. For the first time on the Internet, I did not feel isolated. He analyzed my site and explained how small changes would improve my search engines ranking. Because of his clarity in hierarchical thinking, I improved my site and my ranking. I am extremely pleased with HandSumit and the support from Ken Sproul.

It has been one month and the results are showing. Many of the e-mails I receive start with, “I just found your site.”

Ken Kelso of North West Loading.

I am very happy with your services. I know I told you that, but the its getting better as time goes on.

Thank you so much for your prompt, courteous and thorough service. Your detailed analysis of my web site and search elements corrected many issues that will greatly improve my search ranking and my customers’ experience. I would highly recommend your services to any web owner.

I hate to use the word genius, but in terms of SEO, you are the man! I’m 3rd on MSN, 4th on Ask Jeeves. I was wondering if you could take a quick peek at my other site at

Although we are not based in the US we have many more US clients than any others and we have more testimonials than I have time to place here. Thank you!

Nick once again I have to applaud you with a great job. Not only do your submissions work it worked in a matter of 2 weeks. My site is again getting new hits and more orders. You positioned my site in the top 10 on many engines and that’s what counts. I decided to stay off the PPC’s for 2 weeks to see the growth ratio of submission verse PPC and I was very impressed. I have two more sites for you to optimize and submit I will email you the details. Thanks again and keep up the excellent work.

And, later, when we did Ray’s second site: Thanks a bundle for your help. I am so glad I met you. Its good to do business with fellow Canadians and help the business spread. I am going to pass the word around to my business friends and partners that you can do exactly what you say.

Thanks for your work. Your committment to search engine research is
impressive!! We’ve been very pleased with your service to
date. We are now including your full service package with all of our
proposals for new sites. Doesn’t mean a lot yet, but we are young and
hungry – we plan to grow exponentially in the next couple of years.

Anyway, my point is that we’ll be sending more your way for certain.

Something humbling that’s only just occurred to me is that I approached you with it already set in my head about how I wanted to optimize the site for search engines. I was under the assumption that I would use your knowledge on how to tweak the pages through changing page titles and embedding text and meta tags on the page to improve my rankings in search engines, basically provide some technical help on optimization. What I’ve completely neglected here is that I have no knowledge in this domain at all. I respect the fact that you’re the expert on not just the technical side of this but the human factor as well. As you’ve mentioned, it’s not that hard to optimize the site for search phrases no one uses and always appear #1! My point is that I don’t know what people will be finding us by and I should be relying more on your suggestions.

One of the reasons we keep prices down is to fulfil the needs of Canadian clients, my countrymen. We have testimonials from other Canadians too.

Hey guys, check out Google, Yahoo and MSN Search engines and type any variation of “mobile car (or paint) repairs and see who comes up at the Top of the Pile!…………………..AT LAST No 1 RANKING!!!!!!!!!!!!! for OOPS!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic job you did optimising my website. Having attained immediate No 1 ranking with Google, HotBot, Yahoo, MSN Search amongst others I find it absolutely incredible. Yesterday I received a call from a potential customer more than 200 miles away who had seen my site on Google. He couldn’t believe that I was only a one man/one van operation being at the top of the listing. Unfortunately I had to refer him in this case to another operator.
Today………..wait for it…………i received an e-mail from a guy in Dubai who was browsing the internet, came across my site and is fascinated with the product so much so that he has approached me to think about a joint venture/franchise operation……..i can’t believe it…………oops! in Dubai!!!!!!! I have a lot to think about over the coming weeks and feel sure that this is the kick-start my business needs to make it a well known and successful brand.

Again, I truly thank you.

By the way, did I let you know ings.com is finally back in google’s top ten after TWO YEARS in the boondocks. It was obviously your optimization that got me back up there.

Old-Fashioned Service On The New Frontier

Optimization promotes top search engine positioning or placement for your site; manual search engine submission simply means that we manually submit your site to the search engines. The vast majority of submission services do not manually submit your url but use submission software. That is why they can submit to hundreds if not thousands of search engines. The only problem is that to all practical intents and purposes, it doesn’t work! Many of the big search engines have software that detects automatic submissions and rejects the submission (they don’t like being spammed every month!). Optimization simply means that we find a niche where you can rank well and attract clients. This is accomplished by tweaking your metatags and your submit page content. This is a subtle art but one based on detailed research. There’s much more to it than relying upon common sense or just copying the metatags of a well ranking site.

Four steps to better rankings:

> pre-optimization site analysis (complimentary upon your inquiry)

> optimization research

> optimization recommendations (page title, site description, key words, submit page content)

> manual submission (three day listings available for additional $56CAD with Inktomi’s paid subscription program)
We will thoroughly analyze your submit page, title, metatag description and keywords ensuring you are putting your best face forward . The most important part of submitting your site is simply what you submit.

The #1 problem webmasters and site designers make is relying upon common sense when it comes to optimizing their site. Research reveals we all have a different common sense. The other mistake is to copy the keyword metatags from sites that rank well. Later, they wonder why they didn’t get the same rankings. Optimization involves some subtlety.

Following optimization we will hand submit your site, one search engine, directory at a time, until we have submitted you to 40+ English language search engines and directories. The fact is you will probably be picked up by at least 300 engines but most of them are fairly insignificant.

We now have an ad hoc after care program to help clients maintain their search engine rankings. This would kick in approximately 3-5 months after the initial round of submissions and about every three months thereafter as you deem necessary.

Yes, we are doing this dirt cheap. We want your business. See our testimonials (and forgive this royal ‘we’ stuff – it’s all just me). We want your business.

Important Note: I can really blather on and on. I spent much of my life as a college professor. If you just want to get on with it, look for an emergency contact us link and we can take care of business. If you’re looking for a diploma in this stuff just keep reading. Emergency contact us link.

Testimonials

“WOW, cool! That is fantastic! Is that msn.ca, or msn.com? By the way, our goal was 50 retailers by May 31st and we got em! Not bad seeing as how we went live March 1st. Now less cold calling, more data entry! Karen, Search By Product.

“This is great! Thanks so much Ken for all your help. I really appreciate all the work and effort you made to help improve my rankings. I’ve been sharing my story with several people and have passed along your email address and website. Maureen, Learning Measures.

“Site has been great getting a lot of orders! Your service and personal care is way above and beyond what I expected. Let me know when you want a testimonial.” Vic Sohar, Replacement Commercial Parts.

“Well, Vic, I think that was a testimonial!” Vic was understandably happy after I informed him of two #1 and several other high rankings after just a few weeks.

“Your service is personable, timely, efficient, effective, thorough, thrifty. If results are what count, your service is top quality. Thanks, Ken.” Richard Campbell, Adventist Music.

We get testimonials on a weekly basis but it’s always nice to get one from a church minister.

After-care

Introducing our After-Care Maintenance Program. Many of our small business clients are in highly competitive businesses and have to fight hard for search engine rankings. For those clients we offer an ad hoc aftercare maintainance program (recommended no earlier than 3 months after initial submission). The service includes updated site analysis, optimization, resubmissions as necessary. This service is available for $64.00. We recommend this service be utilized no more than 3 or 4 times a year following the initial submission period.

Monthly resubmissions are neither necessary nor desirable and are designed to take your money!

Or, you may wish to contact us prior to processing payment.

Subscription Program Option

We recommend all our clients sign up for one or several search engine subscription programs. These programs get you listed at important engines as quickly as three days. They also get you a boost in rankings through the removal of a penalty normally attached to websites submitted by individuals (I can explain this to you upon request). Inktomi results are used by about 300 engines including the biggest one, msn, and hotbot. Teoma will get you on Teoma.COM and AskJeeves.COM, about the 4th largest engine, and FAST will get you on several engines including Lycos. Even if you are already on these engines, the subscription program means your site will be re-indexed or spidered every fews days. I generally recommend we submit to at least one of these programs right after optimization so we can quickly see how well we have done. Otherwise it may take as long as 5 weeks to two months to see any results. If we are not happy after the initial optimization, we tweak and check back again in a few days. Once we are satisfied, I submit by hand or manually to the other engines. Altogether, the benefits to you are fast listings, maximum optimization, thorough hand submission.

The above subscriptions would cost you over for a Garmin GPS $140CAD were you to subscribe directly with each engine. However, these engines offer me a service provider’s discount allowing me to pass along a significant portion of that discount to you ($23) when you process your subscription through HandSubmit.COM. I’ve not seen single other service provider who shares this discount with their clients.
